New YouTubeInterface.py attached below. 090918

Please ftp the attached files (delete .txt first) :-

VlcServer.py -> /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extenstions/VlcPlayer

YouTubeInterface.py -> /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extenstions/YouTubePlayer

and Restart enigma2.

It may work.

But plugin MyTube is made for the 800 and 8000.

Hallo,

ich hab den Patch eingespielt, mein Problem mit dem Fehler could not retrive video url ist auch weg.
Allerdings gibt es gleich zwei neue Fehler....

1. Suchen geht nicht mehr, folgender Fehler erscheint:
Error querying feed for search term suchworte:
search() got an unexpected keyword argument 'lr'

Das öffnen von Standard-Feeds funktioniert, dort kann man auch einen Film starten. Allerdings ergibt sich dann Problem nr. 2 ....

2. Clips werden ohne Bild und ohne Ton abgespielt...
Man sieht zwar die Laufzeit, kann Pause und Weiter benutzen, aber es kommt weder Bild noch Ton.
Auch das normale VLC-Plugin funktioniert nicht mehr nachdem man einen Youtube-Clip gestartet hatte.
Erst wenn ich auf dem PC den VLC neu starte, funzt das VLC-Plugin wieder für lokale Medien.

VLC zeigt auch eine Fehlerbox an, darin steht dann für jeden lokal abgespielten Film Unable to open 'D:\\shares\\Videos\\toller' wenn ich z.B. in diesem Ordner ein File namens 'toller film.ogg' starten will.
Auch öffnen von Filmen direkt auf dem PC geht mit dem VLC dann nicht mehr, erst wenn ich VLC neu starte.

Ich nutze VLC v0.8.6i (weil ich irgendwo gelesen habe diese Version sei für die Plugins am besten geeignet).
Leider werden ogg/theora movies damit sehr schlecht abgespielt....

was kann man noch tun?

Die "Suche"-Problem wird wahrscheinlich von youtubeplayer language datei.

Also - man kann nicht sehen youtube videos?

Dann - installieren die ursprüngliche Vlcplayer. Und vergessen Sie Youtube!

Meine Betatester - sagte dieser Patch war OK.

Ich habe die gleichen Probleme...das mit der Suche würde ich ja in den Griff bekommen, aber dass keine Youtube Clips abgespielt werden können ist fatal für das Plugin, denn darum gehts ja...

@pcd guter versuch du bekommst das hin ...

ich habe ebenfalls die 7025 und VLC0.8.6i zudem das Gemini Image 4.4 am laufen

Weitere Ideen sind gern gesehen...
Ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung ist getan, zumindest ist die Meldung:
"Could not retrive video url for : ..." verschwunden und die Box schaltet um in den Wiedergabemodus.

Habe das auch mit der neuesten VLC Version 1.0.1 probiert, dort stellt sich das gleiche Problem...

dabei die Datei nach der Du mich fragtest. Ich hoffe Du hast eine zündende Idee ich bin echt schon auf deine Antwort gespannt.

It seems that some changes to MyTube plugin code have been made recently. Perhaps this helps in modifying YouTubeInterface.py accordingly.

Are other video selections (other than via Search) ok ?

In that case - the problem may be related to language.

Please try with English.

Sorry I do not have a 7025 to test. But tunhj1 who tested it says :-

He is away now so cannot help at present.

Hallo,
ich habe hier für meine Box 7025 Gemini 4.4 einen Fix. Der Fix ist zwar Quick and Dirty funktioniert aber - zumindest bei mir.

Folgende Probleme gefixt:
- Player läuft, aber lokale Videos über das VLC PlugIn bleiben jetzt schwarz
- Unexpected keyword lr bei der Suche

Tip:
Wenn Sound schnarrt Audio Codec auf MPEG Layer 1 stellen

Vielen Dank an pcd...Jetzt läufts. Augenzwinkern

@pcd perhaps, you can implement a cleaner code than me because I am a beginner in python and plugin coding
